A Place to Call My Own
In these series, Julieta describes her experience and the struggle of having to adapt to a different lifestyle that the one she was used to. Moving away from Argentina her country of birth into the UK was a difficult experience, mostly as teenager.
Morcambe
In her project 'Morcambe' Julieta describes how Brexit was a shoking choice to consider when debating whether or not the UK should leave the European Union. English lanscapes change with their people, but mostly with their choices.
Manipulation
In 'Manipulation' photographer Julieta Cionco experiments with 35m film trying to create something that speaks about Brexit as a metaphor. Destroying the negatives she hoped to create a message that would speak about the impact that people's choices have on their landscapes.
Sombras
With this project, Julieta tried to find the connections between light and photography. Using Plato's 'cave theory' she created a video that expresses the way humans and photography relate with light and shadows.
