Born in Argentina and based in Manchester, Julieta has been passionate about photography for a very long time. While studying at Manchester School of Art and concluding her third and last year in the photography course, she focused on her documentary and lanscape practice. 

 

She works mainly with themes of migration, home and place while also providing a brief insight into long standing traditions and what they mean to us. In her latest work she talks about her experiences and the impact of moving away from Argentina. She makes use of many documentary style techniques in her photographs and videos. From archives to interviews to get a deeper connection with what it means to leave everything you know behind, start anew and change your life completely.
